Mallanders feed

Hi,
My cob has mild mallanders this year. He is fed fast Fibre & m&s supplement. Not many treats, access to hay and his field is pretty bare.
What are peoples feed suggestions for a horse with mallanders? Good doer so low calorie diet is important.

I have found that my cob's legs are much better with Forage Plus balancer. The hair has completely grown back over the summer.
