Malvern monthly horse sales...

Following on from Beggarsgold's post i was also thiking of visiting Goresbridge.. on the look out for 14.2 ish good allrounder but quite cheap... poss connemara.

Now from that post it was suggested that Malvern sale is also good... was just wondering whether anybody has had any experience of the type of animals that go through the monthly sales and also a rough estimate of what they go for..

You can get quite cheap jumping ponies in the Goresbridge Performance sales, the jumping ponies sale is on Wednesday the 6th of September

How cheap is cheap??

Under €5,000 sometimes

I've seen some 5 year old ponies (about 14.2hh) at the monthly sales go for under €3,000, really depends to be honest

If you are asking about Malvern they are fairly cheap but all for a reason

Goresbridge is a very good place to buy, all horses are vetted prior to the auction, and if the horse has a vice it will be called out
