Went to malvern sales for the first time yest to have a look round never been before so wanted to find out what it was all about. Did want to look for a three yr old gelding to bring on for next yr but got told off my the parents for even dreaming!
So went up with my dad, never seen so many ponies for sale in my life! It's amazing loved it. My favourite had to be the goregous foals!
Watched the three yr olds do there showing class, one I like and there was one my dad liked. The one my Dad liked was being very naughty mine very quiet.
Though naughty horse won he showing class!
Well dad went and got a bidding card and when the naughty three yr old came into the sale room, he bidded on it and got it!
So we had to ring for my mum who was two hrs away to drive the lorry down with money so we cld bring him home.
So we now have a three yr old gelding who has done nothing at all, not really been handled much, on the lorry once just to get to the show, well twice now he's home. real wild child!
We had some fun two of us hanging on to him to get him to the loading bay, then on the lorry but with some pushing and serious hanging on we got him home and the poor chap was so exhausted he slept the whole way home!
Though he did manage to seriously squash me in the stable so nursing a rather poorly chest this morning feeling V uncomfortable.
But its all rather exciting hopefully got a BYEH for next yr.
