I went!!!!! Only stayed until 1:30pm though. It was my first time though so I didn't know what to expect. There were some horses that obviously had very unrealistic reserves! There were a few nice horses though that did reach reasonable prices. A few horses seemed to go for more than I thought was reasonable though, but then what do I know! I really liked number 23, which was a lovely grey.

Do not suppose you saw a chestnut go through called Chocolate Orange? He is a 16hh TB x about 12 years old done a bit of everything? I know he had a reserve of £1500 just wondering if he sold?

Yes i remember seeing him in the cat, but didnt see him go through was looking at youngstock mainly.

Yes I went. My first ever horse sales. Just went for the experience & to fill my time since losing Cloud last week.
Chocolate Orange was withdrawn & didn't show.
I thought there were a couple of nice horses there, but on the whole most didn't impress me (maybe cos i'm on the rebound, but there was nothing really that measured up to my baby). Number 71 (Schumacher) was impressive riding around in the ring, I could have been tempted, but didn't go geared up to buy.
