Manège v menage

Something I picked up off somewhere grammatically correct: It's a manège (something French to do with training of horses) not a menage (something to do with a house and sometimes a trois). So now you know!

This drives me dotty, for no reason I can think of, but it does! Even some of the so called "equestrian" estate agents get it wrong, and it was also wrong in an advert from a company that makes the wretched things.....

How do you pronounce it? It has been menage all my life and I am a stickler for grammar so am annoyed to find I have been getting it wrong. Though I do say school.......

LOL! I've also been informed that menage is something to do with housework. That's what finally made me remember, I avoid it like the plague now.
