Man calms runaway horse

Good man but just shows how much the papers sensationalise things - horse whisperer indeed! For goodness sake. Do they have any idea these papers?????

Nice to see his business got a free plug in the photo they took of him though :)

It's a very good job he was there.

I think this is actually a rather sad reflection of our society, that in a country town like Chard, there was only one person in the High Street that had the slightest clue how to handle a horse.

Lovely story glad the man got his business mentioned LOL.
It reminded me of about 25 years ago I was dashing in to Malboughour (sp) and met a loose horse I had my headcollars in the car and managed to catch him. Someone phone the police very few mobiles then, they came out and seemed to want to wrap him in incident tape which I managed to stop them doing!! I had to explain what colour, sex and height it was. They did in the end take it off my hands so I could get back to work and i did get my headcollar back about a week later from the owner, the horse had jumped out to join the hunt.

"Roy is keeping himself busy with his building work - and has no plans to take up horse whispering as a profession in the immediate future."

This bit made me LOL! Good for him though!
