Good grief, I do sometimes think that the people who do thse things have no idea that when they have killed people, they remain dead. An incredible number of teenagers have a very poor concept of dead being forever

That's an interesting point - do you think they only think of 'killing' someone as an act of revenge or violence & do not perceive the finality of that person being dead?
 
On the whole yes I do, also I think that some of these people have huge difficulties in recognising that other people are as much people as they are. I know that sounds odd, but I do think that there is some sort of odd ego thing going on, where they are incapable of recognising that other people exist seperately from how they exist in relation to them, if that makes sense?
 
The only good thing about it, is that the finnish politicians only started arguing about making it harder to buy guns, instead of the "Well if everyone were allowed to have guns, they would be more scared of getting shot themselves-attitude".

Otherwise everything about it's sad. Sad for the ones who died, for the ones surviving (guilt...), sad that someone could get so twisted up...
