Vet has been out a couple of times and diagnosed my horse with hayfever/ allergies.
He's been on inhalers for the last few weeks after an initial course of ventipulmin syrup. The cough has improved but not disappeared.
He is on soaked hay, in at night, out for an hour on grass a day and then hard standing / field shelter to manage his weight (lami prone and suspected eMS)
He has been wearing a full face fly mask during the day, nosenet for riding and I put him on pollenex, nearly at the end of the loading dose but not sure it's really helping.
Just looking to see what others have tried that works for them.
Riding wise, we are keeping in light work, he usually coughs when we first start trotting or cantering but it has usually eased after 10 mins of ridden work. If it continues into the ride we just walk but generally exercise seems to help
