...I may be moving to the Manchester area. I've got a foaly so would want as much grazing as possible or other babies to play with. Anyone from the area and can give me as much info as possible on horseyness in the area.

Well as long as it's commutable to Manchester I'll move where ever is best for the pony

we have lots of comps too (when foalie is old enough )!!

where i am we have several massive comp venues within 30 mins - and 1 hour from southview - not far from aintree either..!

we live about 20min away from manchester, and its very horsey!!
lots going on,abit of everything really and loads of riding clubs you could join, I am out at least twice a week jumping.
north west champs aswell in october which is a brilliant show and includes abit of everything.
some really good cross country courses about and generally all the horsey people are up for abit of a laugh! (and some good horsey shops too!)
