Mane and tail detangler on my dog?

My Lhasa is a bit of a matted mess at the mo and I've left my dog spray at work. Do you think it would be ok/not harmful to use my horse's spray on him? Ta.

I use my Asorbine all the time on my terriers they smell just as good as my horse and the mud just combes off.
