Ive had my 11 year old mare for the past 7 years and in that time her mane and tail have never had to be pulled or trimmed, as they simply dont grow! on her dock she is more or less bald. May I add she is an appaloosa and have heard that this is common, just wondering why this happens? Is there anything anybody could recommend that does actually work?
