Mane and tail

Hi I have an adorable pony who has been diagnosed with cushings, you wouldnt now it to look at her. My daughter used to show her very succsefully until my husband passed away. We would love to take her out again and show her off I really would like to make her mane a lot thicker and longer if possible is there any handy tips to achieve this I thought I would start now then I have all winter to achieve it.

Is she on the correct medication?
And is she on the correct diet? A well balanced diet with the correct minerals should enable her improve all round.

Yes she is on the correct medication her diet consists of soaked hay hifi lite and farriers formula which the vet said was good I have asked advice about this and everyone says her food is ok
