Naw! He's a sweetie. Try treating his hairy bits with Megatek diluted 1:4 in water and sprayed on every couple of days. Great hair conditioner and helps it to grow. I swear by it for my highland.

My pony had little mane at the top due to sweet itch. I used Supreme mane and tail rebuilder oil and now use Megatek to maintain it

To be honest most oils would do a good job, lots use coconut oil, i personally think its the massaging in to the roots that does the trick more than what product you use

I think it's individual with horses. My cobs mane never stops growing but my new forests only gets a few inches long and never any longer

im a believer in treating from the inside out :) I think megatek, oils etc are just fab but you need to start with the correct nutrition. Ive noticed a huge difference in coat quality and mane/tail since feeding forage plus balancer + linseed.

I swear by pig oil brushed into the roots and then hair - Shy's mane is so long now (3 foot), his tail is amazing, and his feathers are white and long. Patch test first, but it really is good stuff !

He is fed Topspec Lite and veg oil, and I'm sure this is doing the trick too. :)

well as I said, mine has done very well on forage plus balancer and linseed so my personal recommendation would be to look at the FP website :) The FP balancer will do all you require but be particularly good for skin/coat.
