I have a Connemara gelding, usually after winter he has a big bushy mane. This year his mane has not grown at all, it is still the same length as it was when I pulled it last October which is really odd. It feels a bit strange too, brittle. He has not worn a neck cover all winter as I find they make the Native types sweat and then their manes fall out. Any suggestions as to what might be up? I've had him nearly 3 years now and he's never had a problem with growing mane hair!
