So i've posted before about my mare (Welsh D) and showing as she is unregistered and I wasn't sure what classes I could show her in. When I first got her (in September) she looked a mess as her mane had been cut with scissors (I think) and was growing out and looked a mess and her tail had been half pulled/cut/shaved! So i've been letting it all grow and her tail still looks a mess but is definately getting there, she lives out so I have been slathering (sp?) it religiously with baby oil at the same time as her feathers. Now her mane... has grown out but has bits missing where she has been rugged and to be honest the long bits look a bit messy to, so what do I do? should I pull it just to neaten it up so that it all grows back together or should I just leave it? Then what about showing as if I show her in native classes it needs to be natural but then as shes unregistered and I only want to show locally this year I probably wouldn't be able to enter her into that many native classes and if she was neat maned at least I could plait her for WHP. Sorry for all the questions, i know this is a really small problem but i just can't decide what to do!
