Mane regrowth

Anyone have any idea how long a mane that has been rubbed away by a rug will take to grow back? It's on Welsh Sec A

depends how bad it is but my friends D was still a bit bold going in to this winter after rug rubs this winter. Watch out for next winter as her D is now without bottom half of mane.

it took months for my mares to grow back and now to be wicked this year she's not wearing any rugs as it ruined her mane for showing last summer.

Urgh, won't be back for the shows this summer then. There is some mane left, see pic of the grey in sig, these are quite recent pics. We've only just got her, she came like it but it is a shame

i hog my horse and havent done it in 5 weeks - its already 3 inches long so if you can stop it being rubbed even more now may not be too bad.
