Hi -is there any harm in using Flexadin UC-ll and also Cosequin. My 23 year old gelding has come on very well since the addition of Flexadin to is feed a feww weeks ago and as he was already on Cosequin I'm reluctant to stop using either as the difference is very dramatic.

The info on Flexadin is -

Flexadin UC-II, containing the patented ingredient undenatured type II collagen, is the latest addition to the Equistro Flexadin range. UC-II sets itself apart from other joint management ingredients as it works in harmony with the horse’s joints making Flexadin UC-II more beneficial than a glucosamine and chondroitin product.

There is however a note on the Flexadin tub (albeit very tiny) that says due to Manganase not to use more than the one and a half scoops advised. I think Cosequin has a little of this too so wondered what the advice would be. The total fed of Flexadin is one and a half scoops for three months then reduce to one thereafter and with the cosequin he just gets one very small scoop per day
