Had a really nice day. My old fella won the 95cm and was 3rd in the 1.05m so very pleased with him as always

. Was seriously thinking about retiring him as although he was generally going clear in the 1.10m and 1.15m classes he just didn't quite look himself recently

.
Well he looked a different horse today and he loved it so I reckon a permanant step down to 1m classes is the way to go with him.
The other horse we took jumped a nice double clear in the disco and came 4th so came back from the show in profit for a change

Well done ! Sounds like you had a brilliant day ! I think they do appreciate a bit of fun every now and again and there's nothing wrong with stepping a horse down a level or two if it means it still has a job. He clearly enjoys it...and is rather good at it too
