I feel a bit silly LOL! Put Manuka honey on our mare's face where she had been scratching and had taken hair/skin off. That has now scabbed over but the manuka honey has run in the hot sunny weather we are getting here, it has run down her nose and is very sticky. Have tried warm water to get it off but it's not coming off. Has anyone else had this problem? Any advice on what to try? Thanks in advance

Well I would have suggested hibi but seen your post saying it didn't work. Did you try a bit neat on a sponge? Shouldn't irritate the skin if you rinse it all off. Or failing that I'd use some baby shampoo.

Just warm water worked on mine with a bit of cotton wool, it melted the honey. Maybe try a soaking a flannel in warm water see if that works ....
