Maple Arenas...has anyone used this company? Are the any good?

We are trying to do our research for building our menage, and have a quote from Maple Arenas.

They are based in Nottinghamshire but work all over the UK (www.maneges.co.uk)

Has anyone used them before for anything? What was the workmanship like? Any after-sales issues or feedback?

Just trying to get some advice really - it's a lot of money to spend and want to make sure we make the right decision on which company to use.

They refurbished a school on a livery yard that I used to use. It rode extremely deep and the membrane lifted, and that was after spending another 2k to get the first attempt rectified.

Oh dear, these things are not building to quite the picture I was hoping, but I'd much rather know now. Thanks for the comments.

I suppose the next huge question is - Which company should I use?!

It's just a private 20x40 menage, but we want the balance between a reasonable cost, but well-built to last. Anyone got any suggestions?

I've been told they are very expensive.

I've used KLH to buils 2 areana, even in all the rain the arenas don't flood.

I have had a Maple Arenas Combi Ride surface for 15 years. Have had 4 bags to top up over this time. It consists of 2 inches of beach sand followed by 3 inches of silica sand topped with Combi Ride turned into the top couple of inches. Our land drains well so don't need a membrane. We had the base levelled with a run off like a tennis court before we started it only floods to one side with the run off but is gone within a day but rain needs to be really heavy, never stops us riding.
