Contemplating whether to enter or not! Another person on yard has just offered me a lift, and it closes on weds so got to make a descision quickly! So if anyone knows where there are pics of the course, or has competed there, can you let me know what the courses are like, if the Sjing area is "busy" etc would much appreciate it!!

racking brains - i have competed there few times but is while ago - i have stewarded there many times in the dressage.

Dressage - in seperate field on bit of slope so arenas not all flat flat, warm up at bottom arenas at top, this feild is next to lorry park and next to road but its not very busy road.

SJ - i think..... up out top of box park past marques etc and into another feild on left, down into field large arena and don't usually build very big, part of xc in adjacent field but not right next door.

xc - past sj field down bottom - Marque shops etc on top bank xc start at bottom (i think) i would say xc is easy course, not over big etc.

I would say def go it is small friendly and quite low key - if SJ where i remember it may suit G..... i'm stewarding on the staurday i think bit if i can help out in any way just ask!

If I remember right Cullohill is spot on with the location of the sj arena. was 3 years since I was there but there was plenty of space to warm up, arena was large with nice turns and nothing really spooky. Compared to Stafford the sj arena is much more low key, the marquees etc are nowhere near the arena let alone beside it! Whole atmosphere at Marchington is more relaxed and not such "big event". XC course was pretty kind but I know they have changed it since. Even though the xc runs in the field next door the to the sj there is plenty of space to keep out of the way. Marchington sj arena will be better than Aston-le-Walls if you are looking for low key atmosphere.

The Xc is lovely. No idea about the Sj, but I do know that they do about 2 sj comps up there a week, perhaps you could go for a practise run with no pressure before the actual event!
