Just wondered if any of you had paid to have your mare and foal shown for you i.e. do all the trotting up etc so you can sit back and enjoy, and if so how much have you been charged.

Most people we know (professionals) don't charge. We've used a couple for County shows and they wouldn't take anything, so we just gave them a bottle of drink (not a bottle of plonk either). If you're on a livery yard, then you would be charged a rate by them as they are in fact "producing" your horse for you. Agree re doing it yourself for the SHB grading, we've always done it ourselves with no problems.
We produce for gradings and just charge our livery rate for producing, and don't add extra onto the bill for the actual grading itself.
Most of our background is in producing TB's for sale, and again, the same principle applies, but owners are normally generous if the horse is produced as it should be.
