I'm so fed up at the moment as Bridie is in and out of season, the spring grass is here and everything is making her jump! I'm just getting my confidence back and was going to go out yesterday but it was blowing a hoolie and raining so it just feels like there is no good time to ride at the moment! Sorry for the rant but its times like this I could give it all up, although this is the time of year to be looking forward to riding! :(

Hi, was thinking of you and B the other day as not seen you online for a while. Sorry you feel disheartened I also feel the same way at times. I was just getting my confidence back and then he has been lame on and off then when he came right he's lost shoes.

Its got to the point I almost look for excuses to not ride if that makes sense? When I feel like this I will lunge for 20 mins or walk in hand down the lane so at least I feel like I've done something.

I think we all put to much pressure on ourselves xx

Thank you xxx I know what you mean! I was quite glad not to go out yesterday really although I should make myself before my confidence goes again! x

Seriously now.... I was feeling like this the last couple of years, then had to have my horse put to sleep - one day he was there, the next, gone for ever. it was absolutely heart breaking after 17 years of owning him - this was a year ago and I still cry looking at photos etc. Anyway, wasn't going to get another horse, but did last August. I am making the absolute most of him as I felt I took my last one for granted. I am loving every minute of it - hailstorms and all!

Aww sorry I can't imagine what that must be like. I should be grateful for what I've got I suppose!

I didn't mean to sound judgemental either by the way, but I didn't know what I had till I lost it.... New horse is lush though - love him so much!
