my mare is usually a greedy girl she has been out twice this week and today she seemed really off her hay. Its not gone bad she usually digs into it but today she seemed uninterested. Has anyone else had this problem? she is not currently being ridden shes being trained so shes not doing much exercise should I put her on haylage?

If you feed haylage do it slowly and mix with the hay so as to not make a bit change to her diet. They do seem to go off the hay a bit this time of year when they know Spring is in the air and the grass growing.
That said, keep a close eye on her as there have been a few cases of colic at my work and if you are worried, call your Vet..

Mine are out 24/7,with ad lib hay, recently they have stopped camping out at the ring feeder and are not interested in the haynet I have at home for grooming etc, they are obviously getting enough grass, although I can't see new grass coming through
