Mare or Geldings?

Which one??

I have had mares, geldings and stallions. Good, not so good and everything in between.

Prefer mares now, purely as the stallion really doesn't like having other men about the place and it upsets the status quo.
 
Id have to say geldings, but thats probs because thats what ive been around most. The RS i used to ride/work are all boys. Ive had 2 mares who were completely different. Had a chestnut TB who had every vice going and was not affectionate at all!- loved her to its though, and the other mare a 14.2irish cob was very loyal, loving and we had a great bond.
think i prefer geldings though-especially my horse. He is the most loving sweetest horse with the best temperament ive ever known. will try his heart out for you (well most of the time :P )
 
I much prefer geldings, I have only ever ridden mares never owned one myself.
Nothing against them as I do get on with them but I just prefer the boys!
