Would you use a supplement to help cycle changes as part of a mares normal dietary routine.
Our mare essentialy, has a lovely temperament but she's a little agitated and tail swishy at the moment, with some tail lifting and dribbles. She doesn't turn violent, doesn't kick or bite or anything but can get strong and a bit spooky.

If so, what would you recommend ?

No, I don't. Seasons are natural so I don't see the point unless the mare is having hormonal problems- in that case I'd ask the vet :)

Mares season....

Its part of owning a mare....

Unless its causing her problems and is dangerous with it then leave her to it.

Mine pee's a lot in season and gets a bit flinchy around her loins but thats it. These first few of the year for mine are the worst because spring grass is also in the mix.
