Can anyone recommend the best one to use, prefer not urine as I have owned this mare for 7 years and have never seen her wee in the stable and I dont like the idea of the bottle to catch it with contraption I have seen people use, thanks

I would either use a blood test then or the far better and more reliable option of getting your vet to scan your mare as you can then see all is well and no twins! With the tests they can give you a false positive as mares will still produce the hormones they test for even after foal has been reabsorbed/aborted.

This mare was sent to stud last year and came back not in foal but im starting to think otherwise, I had her scanned when she came back from the stud and again she scanned NIF but she has changed shape and is acting like she is, this would be our 4th foal off this mare so I know her behaviour well, shes a bag to inject and scan so wanted to try alternatives rather than upset her, so are the diy kits no good then?
