Mare skin condition near her teat... advice please :( pic

She is in good normal health and eating well. I know that she has had many foals before I bought her, she also has cysts in her uterus, could this be the problem? She is 24 now.
Any past experiences or ideas of what this is, I would be greatful. Thanks in advance.

I would be sayingsarcoid too - it is the most likely diagnosis.

I would say occult sarcoid too - looks almost identical to my mare who has several occult sarcoids around her teats and back legs. I am having them treated with liverpool cream as it is hard to keep flys off them are you aren't supposed to put anything on them and her fly rug doesn't cover her there. I belive they are a pretty sucessful type to treat.

Def don't try anthing not suggested by your vet (camrosa, thuja etc). If it were me I would have them treated sooner rather than later if you do it on insurance as the clock gets ticking!
