Mare with discharge - not supposed to be in foal

Hi all,

My mare scanned not in foal post AI in August, scanned at 14 days if I remember correctly. I have noticed that she seems to have a constant drip happening, like a runny nose drip but tinged red, from her vulva. Unless she is in season I have never noticed her to be dirty round the back - does anyone have any thoughts on what might be causing it? Surely its too far after AI to be an infection? She seems fine in herself, no other changes.

I would want the vet to examine her, as it does sound like an infection to me.

Would probably worth getting the vet, you could have an infection there and that could impact future fertility. Might also be a nice double check on the empty status
