after only ever having mares this is probs a very silly question,

how often do mares go into season???

my girl seems to go in an out of season all the time lol!!

It's odd, I hardly notice when my 15, 20 and 23 year olds go into season - they just seem to be normal. However my 5 year old is a nightmare (Shetland X) and breaks out of fields looking for men. Seems like she's been in season for weeks!

Ours cycle from January to October, normally every 21 days. Can be in seaon for 7 days each time

My mares first season of this year was in April and she was evil, but, she did have a very bad season and I believe was in pain

Since then she has come into season approx every 3-4 weeks and she is a total tart

Lifts her tail, sticks her bum out and squirts and any boy she sees, if I'm riding her or not!!!!
