Mark Todd - aiming for London 2012!

I listened to Mark's "chat" with Jonty Evans at Burghley today, where he said he intends to get a string together again to aim at 2012 - probably basing himself back in the UK for the last couple of years.

He also said that he produced Karin Donckers' ride, SS Jet, so that would be why he was taking an interest... as per Pippa Roome's blog on the front page.... less lunch more research perhaps?!

I do hope he is at 2012. He is the best, IMO, and such a very good role model for young riders....

He looked to be having a great time in HK and I suspect that has spurred him on.

I'm thrilled- I adore watching him ride!!

Dont know why, so out of character for me, saw Mark by the dressage warm up area, I just walked up to him and started talking to him! Such a nice man had time to speak to a complete stranger. OH thought I has finely flipped though!

yes he is going to have a go at 2012 as i spoke to him and asked him the exact question in HK! as to whether he will be based in uk, i think it is very likely as thats where he chose to go for olympic prep this time and gandalf is back in uk.
he is such a nice guy, so friendly and an absolute legend!!!!

Great - I wonder if he will make the team? If he does will he have competed at the most games in equestrianism?
