Does anyone have a pair of these boots?

I'm looking to get a pair but am so confused about the sizing of them as several websites have different size charts - seems like the standard calf width for the size 4 in a short leg is either 35cm or 37cm.

Now I know 37cm will fit me but know that 35cm won't! and don't want to go through the hassle and expense of returning a pair.

Can anyone shed some light?

Actually, even if you don't have the same size/width etc, would really appreciate if anyone could tell me the sizing they have and what measurements their legs actually are!!

Thanks!

There are 2 different boots basically. The cheaper one of them is made of stiffer leather and has a more generous calf measurement. The more expensive ones are made from a soft, stretchier leather and are meant to fit like a glove. I tried on the expensive ones (£230 in the shop) and they were perfect, but ended up buying the cheap ones (about £100) online. They do fit quite well but as the leather is stiffer they have been designed with a shaped and gusseted panel to accomodate the calf. This bit is a bit big on me and is a bit baggy. They fit well below my knee and around my ankle but I can grab a 'pocket' of empty space where my calf doesn't fill out the gusseted bit. It's not that noticable and doesn't seem to affect comfort or the effectiveness of my legs when riding.

My boots are short, standard fitting. I have size 5 feet and my calf is about 13.5" around and about 14.5" tall.

Thanks Kitkat86!! that's really helpful and exactly the sort of answer I was hoping for!

I will be going for the cheaper ones I think. Just about to put an order in for short wide (as I'm 14" width at the best of times)

Thanks again :)

thought I'd follow up on this in case any one is looking for an answer in the future.

Basically they are a very odd shape - the top of the calf is a sensible size but the middle of the calf sort of bulges out, so it's a bit loose there.

I'm hoping that with use they will soften and look a bit less demented but for the price they are fantastic boots and exactly what I wanted.

I had the exact same problem with these boots they are the oddest of shapes I gave up in the end aftefr trying several pairs and bought some shires and they were a much better fit.
