I brought one of these at Badders I liked the strechy neck part, however when it has been warm enough for her to wear it X2, It has really rubbed her shoulders and seems to slip back and doesnt look very commfortable for her especially bearing in mind u would expect this rug to be on all the time in the summer.

I want to complain, do you think its worth it? and I cant find a e-mail address for them may have to buy a Rambo as ive never know one to rub any horse!!!!

I have one, it is brilliant, it has never rubbed my horse. Also have a pony in one and again, not had any problems - sorry!

This is the one we have BTW...

i had that one = my horse got hives she sweated so badly in it :o
i dont bother now - bit of fly spray every morning and she seems happy enough

I was thinking of buying one of these, glad you've mentioned it, unfortunately is seems what fits one horse might not fit another, I had the same problem last year, I love weatherbeeta rugs so bought their fly rug, it rubbed my horse, I sold it on ebay.

They don't put the nylon anti rub far round enough at the front if you get what I mean, I've got an amigo bug rug which I've never had problem with so I think I'll get him a new amigo or rambo one this year as this ones got a few rips in it

Yeah I've also had the same problem with rubbed shoulders on mine. Its so annoying as I really like the rug, it fits everywhere else and it was a real bargain. I don't really want to have to splash out on a Rambo or anything, I could go with a weatherbeeta but they didn't look as close fitting as this one.

The weatherbeeta one rubbed mine and the neck part kept slipping down, he wears a muzzle anyway so I attached the neck to it but then it was pulling the rug and the rug was pulling the muzzle and my horse was like, what the hell ?

So you can't really win then!

I am half tempted to just take the rug off, cover her in fly repellant and see how she does, I just don't want her to start scratching her mane out as she's got sweetitch. She's not at all bothered by the fact the rug rubs her shoulder though, as she's too busy eating!

I have one for my TB otherwise he comes out in lumps all over from the bites.

Its fits him really well and i've never had any problems with it.

I bought a new style Rhino MW turnout rug, i have the old style for my pony and it fits him brilliantly. However this has rubbed all the bottom part of my TB's mane out. I complained to Horseware Ireland and got nowhere..
