I have found these at a v good price and am considering them as a replacement for my trusty but ancient Mountain Horse Sportives. I haven't seen them in any shops..does anyone know if the MT boots have a chunky zip??
..which would I'd prefer or any other comments on these boots..

Thanks

Which ones are they, are they brown? Do they almost look like a yard type boot but are purely for riding? I have a pair possibly similar but no idea what they are called. They are new and haven't worn them yet? Did they cost about £89.99?

I have some mark todd boots but not sure if they are the same ones you thinking of. Ones I have aren't leather. They are really comfy, i bought them at HOYS and have hardly had them off since. However the heel has come away where it joins the boot from me being lazy and pulling them off with toe of other foot so they not waterproof any more :-( Can't fault them apart from that.

I know the brown ones you mean.. Mauri's, and the non leather ones are possible called Cooks.. for cold winters.
The ones I'm looking at are more of a formal boot, leather and leather lined with dressage type top, and as field boots have the laces at the ankle...
I know way too much about boots.....

My daughter has a pair, infact shes on her second pair, the first pair didnt last long and the shop exchanged them as the poppers at the top which do up round the back of the knee came off so they just exchanged them, shes had no probs with the zips as long as she wears breeches and not jods as their so thick round the ankle, infact she loves them and finds them very comfortable.
