I have borrowed a friends pair of high waist Equetech breeches and loved riding in them but also like the look of the Mark Todd ones. I prefer the colour of the Mark Todd (I'm after canary) but no tack shop locally stocks them so would need to buy on the internet which means I can't try before I buy. I like breeches to fit close and the equetechs do, hardly any creases round the knee, nice and 'supportive' around the bottom area! Are the Mark Todd ones like this too.
Any recommendations greatly appreciated!

For some reason the Mark Todd breeches only fit a few people, but the equetech ones seem to fit everybody! I have had two pairs of Mark Todd breeches (both bought for me as presents by my Accountant husband!) and I have had to sell them on ebay as they are uncomfortable (He thought they looked like my Pikeur ones at half the price! - money first, quality later is his motto!) Equetech ones fine, but watch the 'cotton' content as this tends to make the colour fade if you buy the darker shades - same happens with all high cotton content breeches. Rectified by using Dylon machine dye in the same shade to brighten them up again!;)

Hi there - I had mark todd breeches and relly liked them tho the seat wasn't so grippy as other makes. I bough Derby house breeches on the but one get one pair free(couldn't resist a bargain) and was very impressed with them.
Vancover and baltimore - size wise I bought both in 28 the baltimore I could have got away with a 26

I mostly like cavallo and eurostar breeches but as I said I saw the offer a while back and thought i'd give the a try and they have lasted ages and are really smart god fabric etc, at that price def worth a gamble I think.

Oops just editing to add just checked and vancover u don't get in canary and seems they don't do baltimore anymore! But still maybe worth a try at 2 pairs for price of 1offer on now!!!

For me it has to be Equetech as I've tried the Mark Todds don't fit me at all- have quite a few pairs of Equetech as they fit me really well and last for ages- the full seats are really nice and stretchy in them too. In the Equetech's I have to go up a size!

If you like Equetech, another make that fits me well that may or may not be of use to you is Horka or Red Horse breeches- they are made by the same dutch company- i just buy my normal size- they are fab too! have loads of them!

Hope that helps- happy shopping!
