Hi,
can anyone tell me what the sizing of mark todd rugs are compared to other makes? My boy wears a 7" in masta, and 6"9 in shires. Just wanting to know what size to go for?
Thank youu

We were told that my daughter's new pony took 5'9" rugs, we bought a Mark Todd lightweight turnout for him in 5'9" and it fits him perfectly. It does come down to his knees but that isn't a problem! I would say that they are quite accurate size wise.

Mine (6ft 3 on a cobX, who also takes a Masta 6'3) is bang on as far as length, chest etc. goes - but also *very* generous with depth, so much so that it might swamp a skinny type, but be ideal for something that leans towards plumptious :)

I'd say that they're about "right", I normally get the same length a I do for Mastas which I also think are about right...

it's not so much the size as the cut and shape - Mark Todds rugs never fitted my old TB but they fit beautifully on my Irish Sport Horse. At a guess, he uses a more warmblood body shape than a thoroughbred

I find them a very good size, mines 6'3 in all of her rugs, but i would say mark todd are bigger in the chest than something like a weatherbeeta, which really suits my mare!
