Any one use them? Good/bad experiences? How much room do they have in the chest? Enough of a cob?

I'm a religious Weatherbeeta person but want detachable neck covers for next winter and the Mark Todd rugs have the rings down the rug a bit so there is no leaking on the withers like other rugs do.

I have this and love it!!
http://www.countrysupplies.com/item.asp?i=849

Im a Fal/ Rambo person but have to say this rug is just as good- really really well designed (extra crease thing on the neck so it covers the neck right to the ears even when grazing, its really deep and its not too heavy when its wet!

Bailey is MW and is still on the tightest clip, with the strap about half way- so I would think that there is plenty of room for a cob.

Im not sure if this is the same across the range as the HW stable is quite short- but still roomy at the shoulders.

Hope thst helps

Brilliant thank you both. I'm going to buy the MW in a min as DH has it in the sale. So will see how it fits my two and if it does will buy another MW and 2 LWs and HWs.
Wow that website has them cheap, will have a good look at that now.

I had one for my old horse, I would describe his a sports model cob, he was solid but had no feathers, it never moved on him and I have a real thing about rubs as I showed him in summer and dressaged him in winter. I now have a gangly tb x with pointy bits l over the place and again I find his mark todd never rubs or moves.

Even better Thank you. Both mine show so don't want rubbed shoulders and I find the WB rub my mares mane sometimes.

Welcome to the forum.

Well they are brilliant for pickle and he is certainly deep in the chest. Allthough they also fit my sisters tb. Think they are just quite well cut overall

They fitted my Welsh Cob with her huge shoulders really well, never rubbed. The lw t/o does rub my big-shouldered ID X a tiny bit, but the mw is brill. And the neck stays all the way up to her ears even when her head is down, unlike some rugs (Fal/ Rambo type). I hope you're pleased with it!
