Mark Todd Winter Breeches

I have some of the normal Gisborne breeches but they are not at all warm. Has anyone tried the winter ones, if so what do you think of them and are they worth having?

Tried them but i prefer these bargain jodhs from EC. They are fantastically warm and seem shower proof- fab for hunting! NB they come up small in waist but long in leg..

Shame I didnt look the other week as just had a delivery from EC! I guess still cheap even with the delivery charge. Thanks for that suggestion

MT are not happy with the quality of them so are going to do a redesign (I believe the problem is that they cag/catch). I have a pair, they are warm and fit very nicely tho!

Hmm, interesting about the catching, have yours done that? Am fed up with having cold legs even with chaps on and find overtrousers far too bulky to ride in.

Mrs T, I bought the Aspen Derby House ones which are wonderful. I got them in their winter sale.
I also have the Pikeur ones which obviously expensive but i tell ya they are amazing and look like new.
Worth every penny! and I am so plsed i bought them for this winter.
Mine cost £114 and took 3 wks to come direct from german.

I don't know yet MrsT, I haven't washed them or worn them! I know KatB has some and really likes them and hasn't complained about them tho - you just need to ensure the velcro is done up and be careful what you wash them with

I like the look of the Pikeur ones and do like the quality and fit of Pikeur, I guess you get what you pay for, not sure I can wait 3 weeks though! Dont think any of our local saddlers will have them in stock.

I have some Derby House breeches, cannot remember which style, and hate them so not keen to go down that route.
