Anyone know what the riding is like around Dadlington,Is it possible to get on the disused railway.Looked at property there but would like to know about hacking around there
Google Daddlington and bridleways and leicestershire CC has a site of footpaths and bridleways. the Dog and Hedgehog in Daddlington has a water trough and tie up rings for horses if I remember rightly

yep the dog and hedgehog has tie up rings and you can borrow headcollers and leadropes. you can also buy carrots and apples from the bar
I am based near Market Bosworth. Dont think you can get onto the old railway line and you are not allowed on the tow path of the canal either, shame cos that would be nice. Not sure if there are many bridle paths in the Dadlington area but there are some quite nice rides around Shenton and Upton, also bridle paths over the battle field. Have a friend who used to be stabled just outside the village so can ask her what the hacking was like.
