We have a 10hh pony that we need to sell/loan this year who is a great first-ridden but is quite lightly built so only suitable for pretty small/young riders. He is great on the lead rein too, of course, but it seems a shame to restrict him to just that as he is such a game little guy. Though hes a nice looking pony hes not a show pony but has done gymkhana games and could jump.
Were in France and there is really isnt much of a market round us for little ponies and Im wondering if we have a better chance of finding a good family home in the UK where there is far more of a culture for children having ponies at home. I could get him taken over to the UK and temporarily homed with friends whilst looking for a permanent home but Ive been away too long to know if Im right about him having a better future there. What do you think?
