Marking out Arena with Tyres?

Hi all

We have a grass paddock that we currently ride in and i will thinking of marking out a 20x40 areba with tyres as i can get hold of as many tyres as i need.
Has anyone else done this - are there any pro's and cons?

We did have a mare who ran commando style through the tyres we had put out to bend round! But she was an Appaloosa and an absolute law unto herself. She would always find something to amuse herself with.
