Marking Rugs

Does anyone mark their rugs as a visual deterrent against theives?

If so what do you mark them with? (postcode/horses name?)

Where on the rug do you mark and what do you use do do the marking?

I use gloss paint and put first part of postcode. Right across the side in big letters!

I usually use a fabric paint (in dayglo orange) right along both sides. However, I put on my horse's freezemark.
