Up until a few months ago I was feeding my 18 yr old TB mare and gelding Bailey's 17 with apple chaff. It wasn't doing much for thweir weight, expecially my mare so I changed to Allen and Page Weight Gain which has been donig well. My YO recommended that I feed them both Marriages Wheat Feed with the apple chaff.

Can anyone give me some insight on this? Anyone use it? does it give them all they need?
 
Because its half the price. I am not cutting costs before anyone goes into one about it, if they both work the same then why not go for the cheaper option. I would like to know if anyone knows/has used it.
