Martingale clips?

Hi

We have recently bought a Fairfax type girth so obviously it is to wide for a normal martingale to attach round it so it has a D-ring but our martingale isn't a clip type one and have googled it but can't find a clip especially on its own.. What/where does everyone get theres?

Do you have any clips off of rug leg straps/fillet string clips? If the martingale will come undone completely they should be easy enough to thread on.

You need what is called a parrot clip.. Try some polo or Polocrosse sites, we use them all the time with breastplates and head checks

Any good agri store will sell a selection of clips. A carabiner clip should do what you want

Ask your local Saddler, they usually have various types/sizes in stock, they will fix it on for you too.

The shires above clip will do the job, I have one to replace a broken clip on my pony's Rambo rug, very hard wearing.
