Martingale with clip attachment?

Morning all

Is there such a thing as a martingale with a clip attachment?

I have a wide short girth which is too wide for a standard martingale, and instead has a D ring for use with draw reins, I imagine.

I've searched on ebay but can't really find anything, do you have any idea where I might find something like this?

you can add a clip to any bog standard martingale/breastplate. Just unpick the stitching on the loop, undo buckle, buckle on clip (can buy off ebay for a couple of quid) and do buckle back up. This is what a master saddler advised me to do... if you wish you can get a saddler to sew it back up but on his advice I didn't bother as there's no way it ould come undone because of the way it buckles. Alternatively, some of the schmancy expensive ones come with clips but it's cheaper to adapt existing!

I have an Equipe one! Its hugely uselful! There was one on eBay the other day for £45 which is good for Equipe!

Equiport do a stunning one....I bought it at Hickstead last year, and I love it to bits! It's SO convenient, and super smart too. The only thing I would say is to make sure you buy a smaller size than normal - I bought a Cob and still had to have mine adjusted as it was too big!

I've got two, usually called a hunting breastplate I belive.Very usefull as an extra handle too!
