Martins Irish Horses

Not had any experience in recent history,but my friend got her horse from them about 9 years ago soon after they started trading. He was a nice genuine young horse with jumping potential, but wasn't cheap. (Actually he was expensive in my view given just how green he was).

I went to look around a year or so later and they had some decent horses although nothing I fell for.

I live quite near them and I haven't heard anything particularly negative

One thing I noticed is that curiously most of their horses were quite long backed - must either be their preference or perhaps just pure chance with that batch of horses!
 
Hi - my recent experience, quite rushed (usual dealer speak - someone is coming tomorrow to buy the one ur interested in)
Felt rushed left deposit, horse overpriced n proved not novice ride - 24 hours later lost deposit. Relieved not to end up with unsuitable horse! so a few hundred lost was better than 5K wrongly spent. Horses very very green wid no experience other than prior to import. Grumpy after loss of sale :( I wont be going back....
 
cant say i have heard much about them apart from they are a bit over priced, they certainly arent the worst around here!
