Decided to try and get the pony entered there and maybe baby horse as well if he is qualified...

anyone been/know what its like?

Is that the Cherbourg one? If so have friends in Belgium who made a point of going each year if possible as even by french standards it's amazingly well presented. Maybe not good for spooky ones if that's the case! Lucky you!

sorry to hijack the thread but i was wondering what are the advantages to competing abroad compared to travel costs? My parents arent keen on the idea!
 
Marrtinvast has such a lovely atmosphere and im sure ur pony would be ok but not sure you would want to take a inexperianced just qualified horse as its quite buzzy and quite technical! but then again i managed to get round!! Lol!! if you want i could put the vid up on facebook for you so you can see the course!??

Oh and the cost of going to martinvast would probs be the same as for me going to bergi or blair as the main cost is the ferry but you can always share and martinvast is only 10mins off the ferry!!

also, how long is xc and is it hily? and sorry to be a pain but how much bigger/more technical is it than barbury?
