I decided that after getting on the pathway Marty should try a fox.

He was really good! Just had the last as made a touch too much ground in the double, I will try sitting up faster!

Heres some pics and a video!

Didnt realise it was his first fox. Such a shame in the 1.10m, he seriously pings, but makes up so much ground! T'is me off the cow pony :)

He's a class jumper, isn't he. And looking much more confident and economical in his jump now. You're producing him very well.

Well done - looks super. Unlucky at the last - like you say just seemed to find it too short! I was at Rodbaston on Sat for the BN and Disc so its really interesting for me to see the course with the same lines set as a foxhunter! Did you do the BC Power?

Jumped the power. Just tapped coming out of the tripple as again made too much ground. Hes got a big stride so will do some bounces and teach him to shorten and prop. :)

How did you get on?

Well done in the Power too! I am sure the shortening will come with time and practice - he is a star! We came 2nd in the BN (although there was only about 15 in the class!) and just had a pole in the Discovery thanks for asking. It was one of those days which went well enough on paper but i felt like the rounds weren't as good as they could be - I've been a bit out of sorts since my Geoff lesson - not his fault, just I seem to have lost my way a bit and got rather confused on how to actually ride properly! So going to have a few lessons with my regular instructor and hopefully get back on track.
