Just wondered if anyone has attended this course which is held at her farm in Exmoor. It's a 2 day course aimed at horse owners. The information on her website isn't very detailed and just would be interested to know anyone's feedback on it and approximate costs etc

I wouldn't waste your money. Her courses are out dated & the tuition is dreadful & hurried. If you ask for your money back you won't get it whatever the reason! She advertises Sports Massage courses which are not Sports Massage but only "holistic massage". She has no understanding of "Trigger point" therapy or other sports massage specific techniques. You have several different people each telling you a different way of doing things & the lectures are rushed.
I would highly recommend the one day owner massage courses at Equi-therapy in Leicester. They are very well run & friendly as well as informative. Hope that this helps.

I completely disagree, I spent 2 days with Mary as part of another course and found her both fascinating and very informative. It was neither rushed nor dreadful!
You need some knowledge if anatomy to make it worthwhile so I imagine if you turn up not understanding the skeleton or musculature of the horse then you're going to struggle to keep up but i'd highly recommend her.

I have been told very similar by an equine chiro & EMT
