Can someone please explain to me how Mary was able to finish her test and then re do the bit she missed out? I can find nothing about being able to do this in the rule book, was it just because she was Mary King? Taken to it's lucicrous conclusions that means if we do a bit wrong, we can then do it over again until we get a better mark!! Surely if she missed a bit out then it was a 0 movement not performed!!:(
Please enlighten me....

The judges rang the bell and stopped marking, Mary didn't hear. She wasn't being marked from the point she went wrong, was given penalty for going wrong and resumed test from point of error.

I'm not shore about eventing but when you go wrong in pure dressage the judge rings the bell and tells you you have gone wrong. They then tell you where you went wrong and you start again fron that place. You get marks taken off for error of course and if you go wrong to many times you get elim. (I think it's three or four times but I can't realy remember).
Well this is what happens to me anyway. :p I'll be intreaged to read other replys regarding eventing :)

If the bell went 3 times, and she finished (did she salute at the end of her first run thru'?) doesn't that consitute elimination? Sorry mary I think you are a great rider but rules is rules.
